Senior Communications Advisor & Founder
Steve Getzug is a longtime communications professional and former journalist who partners with his clients across industries to develop and successfully implement strategies that advance their personal and business communications goals.
Steve’s experiences as a reporter, editor, media coach, communications strategist and public relations executive influence the storytelling, positioning and issues management services he provides in times of crisis and calm to CEOs, CCOs and other senior business leaders.
Most recently, Steve managed a strong team delivering executive communications support at AECOM, a Fortune 300 global infrastructure firm. A leader in the E/C industry, AECOM delivers sustainable design, engineering, program management and construction management services across the transportation, goods movement, energy, water and facilities sectors.
Steve previously held leadership roles at H+K Strategies and Fleishman-Hillard where he aided clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and top academic institutions to utilities and business associations.
Steve’s journalism career included reporting and editing assignments at newspapers in Wyoming, Colorado and California, including the Los Angeles Daily News. He is a guest lecturer at the USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.
A California native, Steve is married and the proud father of three children who are all working in the arts! He’s an avid trail runner, loves music and baseball, and tries to rise above “Amazing” in the NYT’s Spelling Bee every day.
